A consistent left-back who can also play at centre-half, Connor linked up with League Two side Stevenage on loan in August, 2015, for his first taste of senior football after making 16 appearances for us in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League in 2014-15, scoring once.
That goal came in a 4-0 home win over Everton on March 2, 2015, as he finished off a tidy move by slotting home.
He had previously been hit by a knee injury in pre-season 2014 before making his return in September, 2014.
His displays in 2013-14 earned a call into the first team squad for Europa League trips to Tromso and Benfica. Indeed, he was on the bench for our huge last 16 second leg clash at Benfica in March, 2014.
He played 20 times and scored once in the Barclays Under-18 Premier League in 2013-14, scored a goal in each of our FA Youth Cup ties made a further seven appearances for the Under-21s, scoring once.
Born in Harlow, he joined our Academy in July, 2012, and made 18 appearances for our Under-18s in 2012-13. He also started all three of our FA Youth Cup ties during that season and was a used substitute in three NextGen Series matches.
Connor has been capped by England at Under-16 and Under-17 age groups.
