Your say...on Bolton

Posted on 6 February 2002  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

We asked for Your Say on Spurs matches - here is the pick of what you thought after Tuesday night's 4-0 FA Cup win against Bolton.

Mike Porley, Guisborough: A great performance. Nice to see Etherington get a game. I think it's done him a lot of good being on loan at Bradford. The game was tidy. We just need to transfer cup form to the league and we could still make the top six.

Huw Davies, Bridgend: Excellent result in the cup again but let's keep this performance up in the league especially against Leicester.

Chris Marsh, Enfield: An outstanding match, another good performance from this growing Spurs team. I can see Spurs going far in the FA Cup and winning the Worthington Cup. We have proved they are a good side. We have beaten West Ham and Chelsea now Arsenal - bring it on!

Rob Lingwood, Stevenage: What a game! We still need to be more clinical in the box as this could have been REAL whitewash. Good to see Daz in form and showing the way but the star for me was young Matty Etherington - this guy was amazing, Looks comfortable on the ball and like to run at players - one to watch!

Gary Lee, Kent: An excellent performance all round, especially Darren Anderton, who was amazing all game. But can we please get this kind of result against Leicester on Saturday and try to be more consistent for the rest of this terrific season.

Sara Mepham, Chelmsford: Last night I decided to go to the match, totally "Spur" of the moment. I had to run over two miles to get there on time, but boy am I glad I made the effort. I loved the game last night. The atmosphere wasn't the greatest, no Bolton fans to sing against, but the quality of football though was great. Etherington impressed me, as did Thatcher, King ( as usual ) and Anderton. I feel that there wasn't one player on the pitch that didnt give 150%. Well done boys, you did us and yourselves proud.
