The series took a mini-break as we concentrated on last week's Tottenham Tribute Match but now it returns with one of the great FA Cup victories.
It is one of our most popular moments - in the top 20 - but we run it this week to coincide with Saturday's trip to Anfield.
Number 95: FA Cup, quarter-final, Liverpool 1, Spurs 2, Anfield, March 12, 1995
JURGEN AND TEDDY SINK THE REDS!
Jurgen Klinsmann's return for last week's memorable Tottenham Tribute Match sparked a great deal of nostalgia and rekindled fond memories of the German legend.
But in amongst the header and diving celebrations at Sheffield Wednesday, the volley against Everton at the Lane, four goals at Wimbledon, scoring at Highbury and the final farewell against Southampton, one moment sticks out - the day he and Teddy Sheringham combined to perfection to beat Liverpool at Anfield.
It is seen as one of our great displays of the 1990s and, without question, Jurgen's greatest moment at the club as he left in tears to a standing ovation from the home fans.
Liverpool took the lead via Mark Walters seven minutes before the break but we levelled two minutes later, a picture book goal as Klinsmann teed up Sheringham's fine finish from 18 yards.
We looked stronger but the game looked to be heading for a replay when Klinsmann struck. Sheringham slid in the perfect pass and the German clipped the ball over David James and home.
This is what Jurgen remembered about the day. "When I grew up we had the English league on TV and when I was little, that was the great years of Liverpool. To play them at this famous stadium, Anfield, which has such a big name around the continent and then scoring that goal a minute before the end, winning the game, we'd never won a cup game at Anfield before. The nicest part came afterwards in the dressing rooim when the whole team sang me a song. It was very emotional. I will always remember the Liverpool fans clapping us off the pitch and that is fair play you can only expect in England. Great fans at their stadium and recognising we were just the better team that day. A very special moment."
Jonathan Spain and Andrew Martin were two of many fans to have sent this in as their greatest moment.
Here's what they said:
Jonathan Spain: The greatest Spurs memory that immediatly springs to mind is the FA Cup quarter final match at Anfield in 1995. Both teams were on fantastic runs in the League, and the form teams at the time. When Liverpool took the lead we feared the worst, but Teddy scored an exquisite equaliser, curling the ball into the top right hand corner, past a desparing James, from a Klinsmann knock down. Just when we were settling for the draw, up popped the great German to send us into rapture. With time running out Klinsmann latched on to a flick form Teddy, and blasted it past James, whilst being watch by a statuesque Razor Ruddock. Pure FANTASY FOOTBALL!
Andrew Martin: My greatest spurs moment was Klinsmann's winner at Anfield in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. It was the last minute and to beat a side like
Liverpool at Anfield was fantastic. Sheringham also scored an excellent first half goal and Howells played undoubtedly his best ever game for the club. The atmosphere was amazing afterwards and not one fan left for a good half an hour, where all the famous club songs were sung and the players joined in. Even the Liverpool fans were clapping!
