A young Spurs XI ran out impressive 3-0 winners against a strong MK Dons XI in a friendly held at Stadium MK, home of the League One club, on Tuesday.
Academy strikers Kudus Oyenuga and Cameron Lancaster were joined on the scoresheet by defender Nathan Byrne in the victory.
Kudus opened the scoring after 35 minutes, heading home a sublime cross from the outstanding Tom Carroll.
The lads had to wait until the 76th minute before Nathan doubled our lead, and that goal was quickly followed by substitute Cameron latching onto Ronnie Hawkins' throughball to make it three.
The game saw a number of scholars play their first games at Development Squad level, with Ben Alnwick providing First Team experience in goal.
Coach Tim Sherwood said: "It was a young side and they played really well, with MK Dons fielding a number of first team players.
"It's a good benchmark for the lads to be playing against grown men and it was good to see they could step up to the test.
"Some of these players are not quite ready to go out on loan yet but they need to step up and this was their first taste of that level."
