Academy director Peter Suddaby was impressed with a young U17 outfit that included only four full-timers and seven schoolboys in this narrow loss at Watford.

Indeed, we ended with two Under-15 players in the side as Nathan Peprah and Jack Maghoma came on in the second half.

In a game of few chances, Watford nicked the points thanks to a fine finish after finding space in the area on the hour.

"I thought we were technically better but Watford were stronger physically," reflected Peter. "We had a very young side out and hopefully they will have learned a lot."

Spurs U17s: Forecast, Lee, Jenkins (Wright, 75), Stevens (Maghoma, 75), Hodges, Dobson, Watson, O'Hara, Barcham (Peprah, 75), Brown. Unused subs: Welch, Eyre.
