A young Under-18 side - including five debutants - made sure our title-winning season ended with a win at Birmingham City on Saturday.
Ajet Shehu (pictured) opened the scoring in his first start of the campaign before two of the young debutants, Paul McBride and Alex Pritchard, combined for Pritchard to secure the 2-0 win.
The result means the lads win Group B of the Premier Academy League by four points from Leicester City, winning 19 of 28 games and losing just twice.
McBride and Pritchard were joined by Zane Francis-Angol, Olumide Durajaiye and Jessie Waller-Lassen in making their first appearances at Under-18 level in the PAL.
Meanwhile, there were first starts for Mirko Ranieri, Chace O'Neill and Tom Carroll.
Coach Alex Inglethorpe reported: "We started brightly, created a couple of chances and went ahead after about 20 minutes.
"Jake Nicholson curled in a corner, Harry Kane did well to anticipate the flight of the ball in the windy conditions and headed back across goal for Ajet Shehu to finish well.
"We deserved to be ahead at half-time and continued to create chances in the second half but it's also worth noting that Mirko Ranieri made an excellent save when it was still 1-0 - sometimes those saves are forgotten when you go on to win.
"Anyway, we continued to press and our second goal came from a combination of two debutants as Paul McBride crossed for Alex Pritchard.
"That goal came with about two minutes remaining and I was delighted with the 2-0 win."
