Four of our young players have been named in the latest England Under-21 squad for a double-header against Denmark and Iceland.

Kyle Walker, Kyle Naughton, Danny Rose and Steven Caulker were all selected in a 31-man squad for the friendlies.

Stuart Pearce’s men travel to Viborg in Denmark on Thursday March 24 before returning to these shores to face Iceland at Preston North End on Monday March 28.

For Kyle Walker, it is a return to the Young Lions fold following a call-up to the senior squad last month, while Naughton stays in the group having been recalled for the recent friendly in Italy.

Danny is back in the fold having recovered from an injury picked up in a loan spell at Bristol City, while Steven gets another chance at this level having won his first cap in Germany last year.

All four will be looking to impress with the UEFA European Under-21 Championships coming up in June.
