Younes Kaboul is quick to praise the Spurs supporters as he settles into his second phase at White Hart Lane.
The powerful defender answers our questions in the ‘Onside with...' feature in the latest issue of hotspur magazine in which he pays tribute to the supporters at his former club Portsmouth who have stayed loyal throughout their recent troubles.
He says: "The fans have never wavered in their support...and it's the same here at Spurs. You only see that in England."
And when asked what is "the best thing about Spurs," he returns to the same theme. "There is so much but if I had to pick just one aspect it would have to be the Tottenham fans. They are special people."
Younes goes back to his childhood when asked about his early days in football - in fact right back to the age of five!
"I just knew that I loved the game but didn't understand the rules so I wanted to take all the corners and every free-kick - for both sides! It took a lot of explaining before I grasped what I was supposed to do. All I wanted was to chase the ball."
