SOCIAL SPURS - YOUR OPENING DAY MEMORIES

Steve Bishop - Spurs v Man City 90_91 season, Gazza and Lineker fresh from Italia 90 in all their glory, great goal from Gazza at the Paxton End, 3-1 Spurs.

Nezza‏@nezza - Klinsmann goal & celebration against Sheffield Wednesday - the match was brilliant as well.

Kevin Field - Everton 1 Spurs 4 on 25 August 1984. Clive Allen 2, John Chiedozie and Mark Falco the other scorers. It was odd seeing two players called Gary Stevens playing, one for each side. I really thought that this was the start of a great season. It was for Everton, as they won the League.

Ian Stringer - Tottenham 4 Sheff Utd 2 1977. My first ever game. John Duncan, Chris Jones, Keith Osgood 2P.

Morten Hauge Brakstad - When I sat behind the goal that BAE gave us the winner against 'pool in 09 was really a day to remember!

Matt Witcher - Klinsmann debut at Sheff Wed, then the dive to celebrate the goal! Legend.

Ash Le Griff - Ekotto's rocket in the 2-1 win over Liverpool for me!

Jamie McIntyre - Although it was 0-0. The game against city three years ago was a great game.

Parvez Siddiqui - Spurs 3-1 Man City - Game right after Italia '90, Lineker got 2, and Gazza got the other one. COYS!

Ben Vertonghen Larwood - Spurs 2-1 Liverpool 2009, Assou Ekotto's thunderbolt.

Shimon V'Shoshana Kay - Newcastle away 1-0 Sheringham in the Sky Blue 3rd kit!

Eva Hagvall - The fixture against Liverpool in 2009 with BAE's goal I will never forget.

Jo-ann Cook - Spurs v Liverpool 14th august 2004. It was our wedding day and I'm a Spurs fan and the hubby is Liverpool fan. All our tables were named after either Spurs legends or Liverpool legends. Our wedding was planned two years in advance so the fact that this game was on our wedding day was like fate. we were constantly looking at Sky Sports for the result and it ended up a one all draw (fate again)! All my family are Spurs fans and the hubby's family are Liverpool fans so it really was a split wedding! Good luck for this season!

John Stewart - Ossie Ardiles' first game as manager against Sheffield Wednesday, 4-3 to the Spurs.
