The Premier League kicked-off in 1992-93 and in goal that day one of the candidates for the number one spot - Ian Walker.

We've had some outstanding goalkeepers in the 20 seasons since and here is the shortlist for today's vote...

Ian Walker - 1991-2001 - Capped by England, Ian made over 300 appearances in all competitions at Spurs and won the League Cup in 1999.

Erik Thorstvedt - 1989-94 - Norwegian international, 1991 FA Cup winner who played over 200 games in all competitions.

Neil Sullivan - 2000-2002 - Took over from Ian Walker and made 64 appearances in the Premier League.

Kasey Keller - 2001-2004 - USA international made 99 appearances for us in all competitions, including 85 in the Premier League.

Paul Robinson - 2004-2008 - Fans favourite who became England's number one during his time at Spurs, League Cup winner in 2008 who made 175 apeparances in all competitons, 137 in the Premier League and scored against Watford.

Heurelho Gomes - 2008-present - Made some incredible saves on our way to fourth place in 2009-10, has appeared 95 times for us in Premier League.

Brad Friedel - 2011-present - Ever-present in Premier League in 2011-12, stretching amazing run of consecutive games in PL to 304. Kept 14 clean sheets, our best in PL and best in league since 1986-87.

We're putting together a team in a 4-4-2 system and we're using the poll facility on our official fan page on Facebook - CLICK HERE - to vote.

We will hold eight votes in total - goalkeeper, right and left full-back, two centre-backs, right and left midfield, two central midfielders and two strikers.

We'll run daily updates giving you the contenders for each position and the result of that position the next day. We'll also have reminders on Facebook and @SpursOfficial on Twitter.
