Chris Perry will have X-rays on his jaw today after his horror clash with Fulham's Pierre Wome last night.
The defender was left concussed after a sickening collision between the pair as they slid in at full pace for a 50-50 challenge.
Chris got to the ball first but was smashed full in the face by Wome's raised boot. There was huge concern at the time as stretchers were rushed on but, thankfully, Chris got to his feet and was slowly walked off the pitch by physio Ali Beattie.
Wome, however, was stretchered off.
Boss Glenn Hoddle reported: "Chris was concussed but he didn't go out completely. He's got to have some X-rays on his jaw.
"It was a 50-50, the players have gone in and from where I was, I don't think either went in there to anything else than win the ball.
"They were low and that's why they got their injuries. It was a nasty, nasty thing you don't like to see on the pitch, but it was an accident."
