Our Spurs XI team make the short trip to Enfield Town for a friendly on Wednesday night.
The fixture marks the official opening of the Ryman League club's new Queen Elizabeth Stadium at Donkey Lane, Enfield. Kick-off is 7.30pm.
Tim Sherwood, our Technical Co-Ordinator, insists the match falls well for the development squad with our next match in the NextGen Series against FC Basel on Wednesday, November 23 and then the Europa League clash against PAOK at the Lane on Wednesday, November 30.
"It's a good opportunity for us," said Tim. "For a start, it's senior men's football match, not a youth game and there will be a lot of youngsters who we can have a look at and see if they are ready to play in senior football.
"We also need to keep the lads ticking over. There will be some players who might be required for the Europa League against PAOK, so it's about fitness for them.
"It's also about supporting our local, non-league teams and the local community."
Enfield Town moved to the Queen Elizabeth Stadium this month.
The stadium will also be the home of Enfield Town Ladies FC, the club's junior teams and a base for its important community activities.
Tickets will be available on the night - prices £10 Adults/£5 Concessions.
Queen Elizabeth Stadium is at Donkey Lane, off Great Cambridge Road, Enfield, EN1 3PL.
