David Bentley was on target as our Spurs XI beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in a training ground friendly at Spurs Lodge on Tuesday.

The midfielder hit the second goal in the 56th minute after Nathan Byrne opened the scoring five minutes earlier. Sandro also featured in the latest work-out for the development squad.

The goals followed in the second half after the team dominated the first half without reward.

Harry Kane (pictured below) won but then missed a penalty and he went close again with further efforts from Sandro and Tom Carroll.

After the goals, the best chances fell to Kane and Jake Nicholson, who were both denied by the Palace goalkeeper.
