Allardyce said: "Our agenda is not Europe but league survival. We wouldn't be ready for Europe if we got there.
"I think this is more important for Glenn Hoddle and Tottenham to get through than it is for us. Our main concern is staying in the Premiership and making sure we're there again next season. Obviously we're going to try and win the game, but the reality is that it isn't at the top of our agenda."
