Posted on 3 February 2002  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

The News of the World kicks-off the Sunday newspapers with good news for all Spurs fans - tipping Ledley King to be named in the full England squad.

David Harrison reports on the the back page that Ledley, outstanding all season, will be included in Sven Goran Eriksson's squad for the friendly against Holland in Amsterdam on Wednesday week, February 13.

The People's Hotline gossip pages quote Les Ferdinand suggesting next season might be his last. "I've got another year left after this season and that might be enough for me," he says.

The same story links us with a £750,000 move for Wimbledon midfielder Lionel Morgan.

The Express and Mirror run stories about Sergei Rebrov. The Express say that we turned down a swap deal for Sergei with Javi Moreno at AC Milan while the Mirror suggest Lazio are in the hunt for the Ukrainian.

Meanwhile, as expected, Sunday's reports from the defeat at Derby County are all about John Gregory.
