Just about every paper runs with a Glenn Hoddle preview piece with most taking the line that Glenn hopes Sunday's final is just the start of something big at Spurs - a building process he intends to lead to the club challenging for the title.
Martin Lipton's article in the Dail Mail quotes Glenn as follow: "Getting into Europe would be an attraction for the players we want to come here in the summer. My priority is to make sure the success is long term. Our history and tradition are more cups than championship.
"But from the moment I returned as manager, my vision has been turning this club into one with a genuine chance of winning the League.
"Next year would be unrealistic for the title and it will take time, maybe three or four years. That's the second part of the plan and will take players, finances and development. Whether we win the Premiership is another thing. But if you're going into a race, you want the horse to have a chance."
The countdown to the Worthington Cup Final starts in earnest in Friday's newspapers.
