The Yugoslav defender is battling back to full fitness after knee trouble in what has been a terribly frustrating first season at the Lane.
'Bunje' started promisingly but was laid low by a freak collision with Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink that fractured his cheekbone in September.
He returned briefly in November but has been out since with thigh and knee problems.
"I would love to be back," insisted Goran. "I hope to play before the end of the season and I want that for myself, no-one else, to prove to myself that I am ready to play.
"The club is having a bad time now and we all want to try our best to take the club back to where it belongs.
"All the injured players want to be out there. It is frustrating and a new experience for me.
"Imagine the team in the treatment room though and the team that is playing - it is a very strong squad. I think the club will be on the up again although it is very hard at the moment."
Goran Bunjevcevic says he is determined to return to action before the end of the season.
