The 19-year-old central midfielder made his first team debut in our Europa League clash with Partizan Belgrade back in November and has often trained with the senior squad while at the same time playing for our Under-21s over the course of the campaign.
Named on the bench in Sunday’s win at Everton along with Josh Onomah, another of our youngsters who has travelled on the tour, Harry said he was overjoyed to get the chance to be part of our high-profile end-of-season trip.
“I’m honoured to be selected and to get the opportunity to travel with the team,” said the enthusiastic England youth international.
“Obviously it will be a challenge because it’s going to be a different sort of climate and atmosphere to what I’m used to in England, but whatever happens it’s sure to be a very good experience for me.
“As far as the matches go, I’ll be looking to try to get myself in and around the squad and hopefully I may get an opportunity in one of the games, but for me personally it’s a great honour and achievement just to be selected to go on the tour.”
