Kevin Wimmer sees himself getting “better and better” under Mauricio Pochettino as he integrates himself into our squad.

Our recent signing from 1. FC Köln is excited at the chance to link up with a side featuring a number of young Academy graduates and more experienced international stars as we prepare for the start of the 2015-16 season.

And at 22 years of age the Austrian centre-half, who made 32 appearances in the German Bundesliga last term, believes he’s well placed to settle in quickly and is eager to start working with his new colleagues in North London.

“I’ve looked at the squad and there are a lot of young players, very good players and this will help me in my personal development,” said Kevin.

“I think I can get better and better and I’m really looking forward to joining the team.

“I know I will fit in well from the first training session and I’ll try to learn as much as I can from the other players.

“For me, it’s good that there are so many young players at the Club – it will be easy to fit in.”
