Wilson's Wembley way

Wilson Palacios is about to achieve one of his footballing dreams.

The all-action midfielder is set to play at Wembley Stadium as we face Barcelona and Celtic in the Wembley Cup.

We take on European champions Barca, who completed the double by winning La Liga again last season, tomorrow night (Friday, July 24, 8pm).

Scottish giants Celtic follow in a 4pm kick-off on Sunday.

Honduras international Wilson was cup-tied for last season's Carling Cup Final at Wembley but will make amends over the next couple of days.

"When I first arrived in England one of my dreams was to play at Wembley Stadium," revealed Wilson. "Unfortunately, I couldn't play in the final of the Carling Cup, but now I will get that chance.

"We all looking forward to playing Barcelona. They have so many players - Messi, Iniesta, Eto'o, Xavi - and are one of the best teams in the world.

"If they all play, I could be up against Iniesta, Xavi and Ya Ya Toure in central midfield and you have to look forward to games like that.

"They are the European champions, the Spanish champions and it will be a great test for us."
