WILL THE DREAM COME TRUE?

Michael Dawson says it will be ‘a dream come true’ should we make it to Wembley with a win over Arsenal in tonight’s Carling Cup semi-final second leg.

But our defender insists it is a special occasion every time he pulls on the famous white shirt, so he will be treating this game no different.

With the scores poised at 1-1 from the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, we could be in for a tense night, but Michael believes this will not stop us playing our attacking game in order to get the required victory.

He said: “It is a massive game and we know what the reward is - Wembley. It would be a dream come true, not just for me but the Club, the fans and everyone involved.

“Every game I play for Tottenham is a massive game because the rewards are so big at the end of it. Every time I pull that shirt on I go out there I give it my all.

“We know Arsenal have to score a goal but we know what we have to do. We can't just defend, we have to put on a good performance and try to score ourselves. We have the quality in the team to do that.

“The key will be another clean sheet. If you could keep a clean sheet with our forwards and our creative players we are always going to create chances and I am sure we will take them."
