Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

I have been following Spurs for over 20 years and thought I would show my support in the land of two of the greatest players ever to wear lillywhite - Argentina. This is me on top of a glacier in Patagonia just as Gus Poyet banged in the equaliser against Arsenal on November 17th 2001.

Thanks to BBC World Service I was able to keep track of the boys in action! The Argentinians have an incredible passion for football and English football in particular - many recognised the shirt and of course that Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa played for us in the great team of the late 70s/early 80s.

All the kids are mad on Beckham and Owen and I forget how many times 'manos de Dios' (Hand of God) was mentioned to me, naturally I explained that things would be different in June 2002 in Japan!

If you get the chance to go to Argentina I would thoroughly recommend it, great people, amazing wildlife and scenery and you will be welcomed like a long lost friend if you wear the colours! And to JB who I met on my travels, Angleterre WILL beat France to win the World Cup this summer! And of course Teddy will score the winner! Kiss the Cockerel!
