G'day to The boys at the Lane,
Just thought I'd send you the photo. I've been a passionate Spurs fan since the age of seven when we beat Chelsea in the 1967 Cup Final. I was fortunate to get tckets for the great FA Cup win over Forest in 1991 and the League Cup Final of 1999 when we beat Leicester - took my Dad who was 72 at that time and we were in floods of tears, standing on our seats (not bad for a bloke with a dicky heart) at the final whistle.
A few months after the League Cup final I migrated to Australia and live in a tiny town of Kununura in the north of Western Australia where I am a deputy Principal at the local school. I got the tattoo done in Cairns whilst on hoilday 2 years ago as the Spurs are the only thing I miss from the UK.
I keep up to date with through the Spurs website and we have a weekly hour round up of the Premiership on SBS TV each Monday. Good to see that we're on the way up after the dreadful start, just keep it going and we'll be breathing down the necks of our unmentionable neighbours before we know it.
Come on you Spurs.
PS Jimmy Greaves has always been my hero and I always wore the number 8 shirt throughout my Soccer playing days.
