A real mixed bag in the papers today! Many again link us with a £3m move for Sean Davis and suggest that Fulham are ready to sell. There are quotes from Ronaldo saying he would one day like to work with Frank Arnesen again. Helder Postiga is linked with a return to Porto in exchange for Lithuanian striker Edgaras Jankauskas, while Fredi Kanoute is quoted as saying he has no problem with the appointment of Jacques Santini, who was Technical Director during his time at Lyon.

The papers give their take on the arrival of Jacques Santini following Wednesday's media conference.

The Guardian continues the link with Sean Davis, while the Sun suggests that Helder Postiga will return to Porto and the Star uses quotes from our piece with Mauricio Taricco from Tuesday.

The Independent, Sun and Mirror link us with a £3m move for Fulham midfielder Sean Davis, while the Telegraph say David Pleat would like to remain involved at Spurs in some capacity.

The papers report that a supposed move for Dutch midfielder Edgar Davids is likely to be off, with the 31-year-old seeming set to move to Chelsea on a free transfer from Juventus.
