The Daily Telegraph features a big interview with Jermain Defoe, while snippets in the other papers report the possible return of Simon Davies and Darren Anderton for the Everton game. There is a link with former France boss Roger Lemerre and the suggestion that Porto coach Jose Mourinho turned down Spurs.

Tuesday
Snippets in most the papers suggest that Mauricio Taricco could face FA misconduct charges relating to clashes in Saturday's game with Chelsea, with Simon Davies saying he is hoping to return from injury over Easter. The Sun and London Evening Standard report that Spurs would have to renegotiate a deal for Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson now the Elland Road outfit have been taken over.

Monday
Match reports from the one-goal defeat to Chelsea at the Lane on Saturday, while the Express, Star and Sun suggest that Giovanni Trapatoni is no longer interested in the managerial post at Spurs.
