Sunday
The Sunday Mirror quotes Sergei Revbrov's agent Sandor Varga worried about the Ukrianian's mental state and claims unrest within the squad. There s a similar angle taken in a piece in the Sunday Telegraph. The NOTW says Tim Sherwood may sue the club, with quotes from his agent Eric Hall. The People link us again with Michel Ricketts while the Star says Roma are now interested in Fernando Morientes.

Saturday
A number of stories in the Sun including the latest on Tim Sherwood's position, Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves having his say on the reported rift between Glenn Hoddle and David Pleat and Fernando Morientes' agent suggesting that he will stick the season out at Real Madrid rather than go on loan.

Friday
The Sun suggests a rift between Glenn Hoddle and David Pleat. The Mail hints that Simon Davies might be sacrificed to raise funds while a few papers mention a possible cash plus Gary Doherty deal for Michael Ricketts. The Mirror quotes Fernando Morientes as being interested in a move to the Lane and takes the angle of Glenn talking about being judged at the end of the season from Thursday's press conference. The Star links us with a move for Celtic midfielder Neil Lennon.

Thursday
The Sun runs a story suggesting Glenn Hoddle will not play Tim Sherwood for personal reasons with Tim's agent Eric Hall insisting that comes from David Pleat. We're linked again with Bolton's Michael Ricketts while the Express say West Brom want Les Ferdinand and Eintracht want Sergei Rebrov. The Mirror says we are set to get striker Fernando Morientes on loan from Real Madrid and the Mail links us with Ipswich's Marcus Bent.

Tuesday
The Star speculates that Gerard Houllier is poised to hijack Manchester United's supposed move for Simon Davies by offering Emile Heskey in a swap deal. The report suggests that Simon would give Liverpool the width they crave and that United made a formal bid yesterday. Further down in the story it is suggested that Sergei Rebrov's switch to Fenerbahce appears to have fallen through as the Turkish side have signed Russian international Vladimir Beschastnykh.

The Mirror says that Glenn has no cash to spend during the transfer window unless the current wage bill is cut. The report adds that Spurs are hoping to push through a £500,000 deal with West Ham for Les Ferdinand.

The Mail picks up on quotes from Monday's Evening Standard where Steffen Freund is reported as saying that there was a lack of team spirit against Southampton.
