Jermaine Jenas remembers his reaction when David Bentley teed up our Goal of the Season.
"I chested the ball down to him, he flicked it up and shaped to shoot and I thought ‘what are you doing?' but he just smashed it," laughed JJ as looked back on that wonder goal at the Emirates.
If you need reminding, only 13 minutes had gone in the local derby when ‘Bents' hammered an audacious volley from near the half-way line over goalkeeper Manuel Almunia and home.
That put us 1-0 up in an amazing encounter as the Gunners led 3-1 and 4-2 with only minutes left when first JJ curled home another fantastic goal for 4-3 and then Aaron Lennon tapped home the equaliser after Luka Modric hit the post with seconds left of injury time.
In the end, David's wonder strike beat the challenge of Luka Modric's winner against Chelsea at the Lane in March to win the fans' vote on a poll on our official website for the best goal of the season, confirmed with over 50 per cent of the vote last week.
"We had a team meeting and Clive Allen, who is very particular with goalkeepers and was a top striker himself, told us that Almunia comes off his line a lot and to be aware of it," reflected JJ.
"Bents is into trying the spectacular and he had no other thought in his mind.
"As I said, at first I had my back to goal and just thought ‘what are you doing?' but I turned around and thought ‘oh my...'
"It was a fantastic strike, unbelievable."
