Harry Redknapp was left to reflect on a perfect eight days for the team after Sunday’s win against Liverpool.
It started last Saturday with a thrilling first away victory at Arsenal since 1993 when the lads came from 2-0 to win 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium.
That was followed by a more comfortable, but no-less significant 3-0 win against Werder Bremen at the Lane to secure a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
A great, eight days was completed on Sunday, when we came from behind again – the sixth time we’ve done so in the Premier League this season, winning five – to topple the Reds 2-1.
“It’s been a fantastic week for us and to win three games in a week is not easy,” said Harry.
“To go to the Emirates and win, to qualify for the Champions League and beat Liverpool, that’s three big wins in a week.
“Normally you’ll get one or win two, draw one, win a couple and lose one.
“To get all three is difficult but we’ve done that. Liverpool had a week’s rest, we’ve had a tough week and the lads have still finished stronger.
“These are great times at Tottenham and we’re playing some great football. We’re an attacking, open team, an exciting team to watch and anyone who comes to watch us play will get value for money.
"Things couldn’t be better at the moment.”
