Wembley stage is set

Posted on 18 August 2017  - 06:15

Ahead of the first home game against Chelsea on Sunday, we’ve been busy preparing Wembley for the upcoming season.

Our iconic golden cockerels that previously sat atop the East and West stands at White Hart Lane are joining us for our season away. They will take pride of place in the players' tunnel before every home game either side of the bronze bust of Sir Alf Ramsey, England’s World Cup-winning manager and a key member of our 1951 league championship-winning side. The golden cockerels will also be on view for supporters to see up close on most Wembley Stadium Tours on non-matchdays.

Players will also be greeted by the sight of a giant Spurs banner at the top of the South Stand as they take to the field and flags are being given to all home fans to help create a stirring atmosphere at our first game.

Additionally, our supporters will get a chance to appear on the stadium’s giant screen, as well as monitors around the ground, by taking photographs and posting on Twitter and Instagram using #COYS or #togetherTHFC.
