Simon Davies reckons Gary Doherty has been missed in the dressing room - and hopes he gets a good reception when he returns to the Lane with Norwich City on Sunday.
'Doc' completed his move to Carrow Road last month and became an instant hit with his new club by grabbing the equaliser against Newcastle United.
The Irish international spent four years at Spurs and was a hit with his team-mates.
"I suppose Norwich have got a secret weapon now, the Ginger Pele!" said Simon. "Doc was amazing in Norwich's win at Newcastle.
"I think he wants to be a centre-half there ultimately. He's been missed here because he was great to have around the dressing room. We all hope he gets a good reception on Sunday."
Simon was impressed with what he saw of that 2-2 draw at St James Park. "I watched the game and Norwich could have won that quite easily in the end.
"It won't be easy for us and the game could be like a mirror-image in that both teams will want to play their football.
"We're at home so we'll look to get on the front foot. It will be tough but we want to continue how we've started the season."
