Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Good and bad Spurs news dominates the weekend press. The widely-predicted return of former hero Teddy Sheringham came to fruition when a news conference was called at the Lane on Saturday.

However, it later emeged that Sol Campbell has rejected the club's offer of a new contract and will now depart when his current agreement expires on July 1.

The Sunday papers report that Sol was demanding a £20m deal over three years with an escape clause inserted allowing his to leave on a free transfer should the club not reach the Champions League.

In other news, the News of the World claim Glenn has made a bid for out-of-favour Liverpool defender Christian Ziege. The report says the boss offered £3.5m, but Liverpool want to recoup most of their £5.5m outlay and have told Spurs to come back with a bigger offer.
