Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Things are hotting up on the rumour mill in Sunday's newspapers.

The Sunday Mirror says we're on the trail of USA World Cup star Landon Donovan.

The striker, who scored twice in the finals, is reportedly refusing to return to Bayer Leverkusen at the end of his temporary move to San Jose Earthquakes.

The Mirror also runs an interview with Sergei Rebrov, who is quoted: "Everyone said I would be leaving Spurs. I have kept quiet. All I do know is that I want to score goals for them and get the opportunities to show the fans what I can really do."

Finally, the Mirror's Chat Zone column links Oyvind Leonhardsen with a £1.5m move to German outfit Schalke.

The News Of The World's Planet Football pages say Rangers are on the trail of Tim Sherwood and that Chinese World Cup star Qu Bo has issued a 'come and get me' plea to Glenn Hoddle.

The People also report on Qu Bo and drum up our signing of Arsenal midfielder Rohan Ricketts as 'Hoddle 1 Wenger 0'.

On Saturday, Glenn was reported in the Mirror to be on the trail of Lyon midfielder David Linares.

The reports say the £7m-rated star, who helped his club to the French title last season, could be added to recent midfield recruits Jamie Redknapp, Milenko Acimovic and Jonathan Blondel.

The Sun runs with an 'exclusive' story that Les Ferdinand is set to call it a day - at the end of the season. However, further into the story Les is quoted as saying he has not made a concrete decision yet.
