That disappointment stemmed from the manner of the result - a late own goal saw us draw 2-2 in a match we’d dominated and led twice.
After another tough stalemate on Thursday, this time in our Europa League Group C opener against Partizan Belgrade in Serbia, Hugo is targeting maximum points back on home soil.
“We were disappointed to only draw at Sunderland and now we want to bounce back in front of our fans,” said Hugo.
“We were very disappointed after the game because we had the feeling that we had a good performance but we conceded two easy goals and when you work hard all week, you want to leave the pitch without regrets.
“It’s good to learn about that and I’m sure we’ll be ready for West Brom.
"But we don’t need to think about the past. We are focused, we need to recover well after Partizan and we will be ready for Sunday.”
