A disappointing loss to Norwich on Monday leaves us in fourth place, two points behind Arsenal in third with the Gunners playing their game in hand on Wednesday against Wolves.
Jermain admitted it had been a frustrating afternoon at White Hart Lane, but the striker emphasised that there is still all to play for over the next month.
"In the second half the game got stretched, the game got open and they created a lot of chances, it was a frustrating day," Jermain told Spurs TV after the match.
"In games like this it's important to get the second goal and Gareth hit the crossbar and we had one or two chances in the box, but it just didn't fall for us.
"I think it's important to regroup now and everyone has to stick together. We've had a fantastic season and we just need to think about how we've played before to win games.
"We've got to keep working hard, there are so many important games to play. We just need to try and get as many points as we can.
"We've just got to keep it going and try and forget about this result."
