And the French international says that will be no easy task against a Sunderland team now clear of the pressure of needing points for survival.
Wigan's loss at Arsenal on Tuesday guaranteed Sunderland's Premier League status and the final day of the campaign will now be focused on the battle between ourselves and the Gunners for fourth spot.
We go into the final weekend a point adrift of Arsenal, who travel to Newcastle.
"Paolo Di Canio has realised his objective, he’s saved the team in the Premier League and it’s never easy to play against a team that has no pressure," said Hugo.
"We can’t think about the Arsenal result, we have to think about our performance, we need three points and from there, we can see what happens.
"It won’t be easy. Sunderland have good players, a good team and when we played against them in December, it was a tough game. That was a good result for us.
"It has been difficult for them and a number of teams concerned with relegation.
"Like I said, it’s not easy to play against a team that has no pressure, but we have to focus on ourselves."
