It’s crunch time as we face relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers in a crucial match at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Last weekend’s loss at QPR doubled with Newcastle’s win against Stoke means the Toon leapfrogged us into fourth, with Chelsea a point behind us in sixth.
Newcastle are three points ahead and travel to Wigan on Saturday, Arsenal go to Stoke and Chelsea face QPR at home in Sunday’s early kick-off before we take on Rovers at 4pm.
“Of course we can turn things around,” said skipper Ledley.
“There are still four games to play, all winnable games if we perform to our capabilities.
“We were all disappointed after QPR. I felt we had a lot of the ball without creating too many clear-cut opportunities. We just needed a break and it was a tough one to take, losing.
“We were all back into work on Monday, all looking towards Blackburn, trying to put a few things right and hopefully we can go on and get the points we need.”
Ledley admitted our current form had the lads ‘scratching their heads’.
“A lot of the performances haven’t been too bad,” he said. “There has been the odd disappointing performance, but you have those during the season.
“All in all there haven’t been too many games where we haven’t played that well.
“It’s an all-round team thing. We have to continue to work hard and stay positive.
“We have to pick ourselves up. We can’t feel sorry for ourselves. We’ve four games left and we have to give the best we can in those games and hopefully get the points we need.”
