We attack well - Eric

Eric Dier likes the way we get at teams and create openings for ourselves.

This week’s victories over West Ham United and Qarabag mean we’re now unbeaten in six games in all competitions and 12 in the Premier League.

That run has seen us put five goals past Bournemouth and score four against Manchester City and the Hammers.

Eric says the manner of some of our attacking performances mean all the players are confident of hitting the target whenever we go forward as the games continue to come thick and fast.

“We’ve got great attacking players and we’ve got good depth as well,” said the 21-year-old, who has impressed in defensive midfield this term.

“We’ve got players who can come off the bench to make a difference and that helps those already on the pitch.

“Everyone’s pushing each other, everyone wants to impress and everyone is playing with great intensity so when we go forward we can counter-attack quickly and when we construct from the back we can create chances too, so everything is looking really positive.

“I think you saw that against West Ham. Obviously we came out quickly and straight from the off we pressed them and played our football. That was probably one of our best performances of the season so far, but we need to keep going now.”
