Heurelho Gomes has featured in warm-up matches but Brazil's number one Julio Cesar looks set to be fit for their World Cup opener against North Korea on Monday, June 15.
Gomes impressed after taking over in goal following injury to the Inter Milan keeper against Zimbabwe.
Outstanding for us last season, Gomes went on to make a couple of fine saves in Monday's 5-1 win against Tanzania.
However, coach Dunga has insisted Cesar, who is in full training again, will be fit to face North Korea.
"Julio Cesar will recover for our first game," said Dunga. "He is undergoing treatment and he is expected to train with the team this week."
Meanwhile, Gomes was one of the players presented by Brazil for a press conference in South Africa on Wednesday - pictured above.
