Juande Ramos reported that Jermaine Jenas twisted his left ankle against PSV on Thursday night.

The midfielder went down clutching his leg after he was caught by a challenge by Edison Mendez after 63 minutes of our 1-0 loss in the UEFA Cup Round of 16 first leg at the Lane. He was stretchered off and immediately replaced by Tom Huddlestone.

The injury certainly puts in doubt his participation against West Ham on Sunday with the second leg against PSV following soon after on Wednesday, March 12.

"He twisted his ankle, so we will have to wait 48 hours to see how he improves," reported Head Coach Juande last night. "But those injuries sometimes take longer than expected. We'll know more in 48 hours."

Meanwhile, Juande said Darren Bent was missing from the squad against PSV due to illness. "He's not been able to train normally and therefore unable to play," he said.
