The winger will line up alongside Jurgen Klinsmann and Glenn Hoddle for the game against American outfit DC United at the Lane on Thursday October 17.
First team coach Chris Hughton has also hinted that players returning from injuries may use the game as part of their comeback programmes.
Chris lit up the Lane in his 173 competitive games for the club, scoring 42 goals, after joining us from Newcastle United in July 1985.
He immediately struck up an understanding with Glenn Hoddle and was a key part of David Pleat's wonderful 1986-87 team that finished third in the league, runners-up in the FA Cup and reached the semi-finals of the League Cup.
He was particularly impressive in 1988-89 and that persuaded Marseille to splash out £4.5m for his services in 1989 - at that time, Waddle was the third most expensive player in the world behind Maradona and Ruud Gullit.
He repaid the French with some dazzling displays, not least in the 1991 European Cup Final, before returning to England and Sheffield Wednesday in 1992, where his displays in helping the Owls to the League and FA Cup Finals earned him the Footballer Writers Player of the Year award in 1993.
TICKETS are currently on sale from the Spurs Ticketline on 08700 112222 or online for members and season ticket holders. Child and OAP entry is just £5, with Adults £15/20.
