Rumours have been rife about our Ukrainian hitman's future as Glenn opts for Teddy Sheringham and Les Ferdinand up front.
He has been linked with a number of clubs, not least in Italy, but Glenn reports: "He's never, ever come in and said he's wanted to leave. If he does we'll deal with that but at the moment he just has to be a bit patient.
"It's a squad situation and there is a long, hard season ahead of us.
"Sergei is a class player and one that I believe will do well for Tottenham over a period of time. He hasn't given any suggestion to me at this moment in time that he wants away."
