Our new signing told us earlier this week that pulling on his Spurs kit for the first time on Monday 'felt so good' as he got stuck into his summer work ahead of the big kick-off in August.
He similarly welcomes that graft - knowing it's for his benefit ahead of a long season.
The V02 running test on the first day looks a tough one, but Victor, dripping with sweat afterwards, relished it!
"I like it!" he beamed. "It’s good when you feel you are working hard because it means you are only getting stronger.
"I know how the coaches work and I’m looking forward to the next sessions.
"It’s a lot of work but if we can get through it and do it well then we’ll all feel the benefit. When you work hard in training the games get easier. It’s good to work hard."
It's Victor's first week as a Spurs player and he added: "I've had a great reception and I look forward to happy days."
