The popular Swiss has made quite an impact in the high-octane atmosphere of the Glasgow football scene and his progress has delighted his manager Martin O'Neill.
Celtic signed Ramon on a short-term deal through to the end of the season, but the former Leicester boss looks likely to secure services in the longer term.
The Parkhead side have a number of players who are due for a contract renewal or improvement, and O'Neill commented: "I'll sit down with all these lads over the next week or so and, providing everything goes well, I hope to have it all sorted out by the end of the month."
On the subject of Ramon, scorer of two goals on his debut and part of the side who has just beaten Rangers twice in a few days, he added: "Ramon is another one of those. He's done brilliantly since coming up to Scotland and he likes it at the club so I'll be looking to solve his situation very soo indeed."
Ramon Vega is set to be rewarded for his superb form since heading north to Celtic in December.
