Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Darren Anderton shrugged off the poor timing of his Achilles injury and admitted: “I just want to be fit again.”
The midfielder limped out of our first away win at Manchester City 18 days ago and out of Sven Goran Eriksson’s first England squad.
New coach Eriksson, preparing for his first match against Spain on Wednesday night, has since enquired about Anderton in a telephone call to boss George Graham. To rub salt into the wounds for Anderton, injuries to midfielders may well have seen him get his chance to impress at Villa Park.
Anderton, in relatively high spirits at Spurs Lodge, said: “It is bad timing I suppose. I would love to be involved with England. Who wouldn’t want to be playing for England on Wednesday night?
“But that is not my main concern, my main concern is to be fit. I’ve got to concentrate fully on this for the time being. Hopefully there will be a next time.”
Anderton took it easy at home last week before returning to the training ground on Monday. He does not want to tempt fate by setting any targets to return.
He added: “The Achilles feels okay. I’ve rested up for a week and basically had a big boot on it to make sure I have total rest. Now I’ve just come back in and I’m going to do a bit of rehabilitation and take it from there.
“I don’t know when I’m going to come back and wouldn’t really want to put a time on it because I’ve just had this boot on. When I come out of that I’ll have to see how it goes over the next couple of days to see how I can push on.
“I’d rather not push it. Achilles problems can be a bit of a pain, as I know well.”

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
