United front

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Chris Hughton believes Sunday's visit of Manchester United will give everyone at the club a lift after such a disappointing Carling Cup exit.

We were just five minutes from a place in the semi-finals when Middlesbrough cancelled out Darren Anderton's early strike to take the game into extra time.

The scoreline stayed that way despite chances at either end and Boro eventually won a gripping penalty shoot-out 5-4.

Now it's back to the Premiership and what better game to get the juices flowing again than the champions at the Lane?

"At the moment everyone is down and rightly so, because we had an opportunity to progress," reflected coach Chris.

"But to have a massive game like Manchester United next will be enough to give everyone a lift and turn our minds back to Premiership football.

"The most important thing now is to maintain our league form at home and get in a position to win games back-to-back.

"Manchester United are a quality team but we are at home and we have to look at it positively."
