Millwall 0-0 Spurs

Our under-19 side emerged with a point from a hard-fought contest with Millwall on Saturday.

It was a game of few chances that coach Pat Holland felt bordered on the over-physical.

"The game, for me, needed a stronger official on the day," reported Pat. "They were a very physical side, I have to say.

"I think the lads showed great character. We had one blip when Ronnie Henry got himself booked but, other than that, the boys conducted themselves in an excellent way. I was really pleased with the discipline we showed.

"We had a couple of chances, Millwall hit the bar in fairness. It was just a scrap and one I was really pleased to get out of the way with the importance of the Youth Cup game on Tuesday.

"So we've come out with a clean bill of health and now have a clear weekend. But it was far too competitive for me."

Team: Burch, Kelly, McKie, Quilter, Henry, O'Donoghue, Marney, Hughes, Sutton, Barnard, Wettner. Subs: Slabber, Galbraith.
