Under Armour are looking for the world's most passionate Spurs fans

Tottenham Hotspur and Under Armour are challenging fans across the world to follow “The Road to Glory”.

The eight-week contest to find and reward the most passionate Tottenham Hotspur supporters on the planet starts today and the winning team will receive a VIP trip to London for our final match of the season against Sunderland on May 19, 2013. To join the challenge visit

“The Road to Glory” is a virtual journey around the world consisting 11 challenges, each inspired by an historic Spurs event or moment of fandom. It’s open to official Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Clubs as well as groups of die-hard Spurs fans. All competing teams will commit to travelling “The Road to Glory”, but this is not just a race to the finish line; the judges will be marking teams on the devotion and creativity the show in completing the challenges

Starting in Goppingen, the birthplace of the legendary Spurs striker, Jurgen Klinsmann, competing teams will kick off by recreating Jurgen’s iconic dive celebration against Everton back in 1994. From there they will need to showcase their ball skills in Porto Alegre, select the ultimate Spurs first XI with Ossie Ardiles in Tokyo and relive the goal that earned Tottenham UEFA Champions League status against Manchester City in May 2010.

Speaking at the launch of “The Road to Glory”, Tottenham Hotspur’s former Captain and current Club Ambassador Ledley King said: “During my playing career, I experienced the passion of our fans first-hand, week in, week out. Wherever we played around the world we were always guaranteed to get fantastic support. Without doubt the Club has some of the finest supporters in world football.

“I’m delighted to have an opportunity to be part of the judging panel and am looking forward to see how creative our fans can be as they travel on their own ‘The Road to Glory’. Good luck.”

Each team must amass support from fellow fans for each completed challenge in order to travel onto the next location on the road. Winners will be chosen based on the quality of content uploaded for each challenge, as well as the number of supporters amassed. Clubs that complete all challenges and travel the complete road will arrive at Tottenham and be eligible to win the grand prize.

Supporter Clubs and fan groups can visit to join The Road to Glory and have until January 9, 2013 to complete all 11 challenges.
