Spurs weekend preview – all the fixtures for our sides…

Posted on 27 October 2016  - 12:12

We're all set for another busy weekend of action on the pitch, beginning on Friday when our development squad takes on Manchester United in the Premier League 2. Here's a run-down of all of our teams' fixtures...

First team
Premier League
Saturday, October 29, 2016
White Hart Lane, 3pm

We're back at White Hart Lane for the first time in almost a month when reigning champions Leicester City come to visit on Saturday afternoon.

The Foxes are 12th in the standings going into the weekend and picked up a solid 3-1 home win over Crystal Palace last time out, although they’re yet to pick up a single point away from home in the Premier League in 2016-17.

Their Champions League form has been superb in their first-ever venture into the competition and they've won three games out of three so far, underlining how tough a proposition they are in advance of Saturday's showdown.

We'll be searching for a return to winning ways, though, having not tasted victory in any of our last four outings in all competitions.

Development squad
Premier League 2
Friday, October 28, 2016
Hotspur Way, 12noon

The weekend starts with a home clash with Manchester United's second string in the Premier League 2 on Friday afternoon.

The Red Devils arrive fresh off the back of a 1-0 home win over Arsenal on Monday night, while a particularly young side of ours eventually saw their resistance cave in as we lost 2-0 at Leicester City at the same time.

Ugo Ehiogu's charges are now five games without a win in this competition, but they'll see this game as an opportunity to turn their fortunes around.

You'll be able to follow the match with live updates on our Twitter account, @SpursOfficial.

Under-18 Premier League
Saturday, October 29, 2016
Hotspur Way, 11.30am

It's a second consecutive home game for our Under-18s as we welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Training Centre on Saturday.

Having endured only one defeat at home all season, the players will be keen to build on the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last weekend.

With youth international fixtures also on the agenda this week, those who take to the field will be encouraged to carry their work from the training pitches on into the game and hit the heights with another good performance.

Spurs Ladies
FA Women's Premier League
Sunday, October 30, 2016
Canvey Island FC, 2pm

The Spurs Ladies will put their unbeaten league record on the line against C&K Basildon for the second time this month on Sunday.

Karen Hills' side drew 1-1 in their home match against C&K on October 2 – the only time this season they've failed to take maximum points on the domestic scene.

With C&K enjoying home advantage this time, how will the Ladies fare?

We'll have a match report as usual here on at the start of next week.
