Spurs weekend preview - all the fixtures for our sides...

Posted on 3 February 2017  - 09:11

Here's a full run-down of which of our teams are in action over the next few days as we prepare for another busy weekend of football...

First team
Premier League
Saturday, February 4, 2017
White Hart Lane, 5.30pm

Mauricio Pochettino's long-time friend Aitor Karanka brings his Middlesbrough side to White Hart Lane in the Premier League's late kick-off on Saturday.

The two bosses know each other from their time in Spain but, with crucial points at stake, it's sure to be a keenly-contested match.

Boro haven't won in the Premier League since December 17 but have drawn three of their last four on the domestic scene, including Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at home to West Brom.

They are, however, going well in the FA Cup and have a home fifth round tie against Oxford United to look forward to after seeing off Sheffield Wednesday and Accrington Stanley last month.

Development squad
Premier League 2
Sunday, February 5, 2017
Anfield, 1pm

Following Monday night's fine 3-1 win over Southampton, we're quickly back in Premier League 2 action with a trip to Liverpool on Sunday.

For some of our younger development squad campaigners, it's a fantastic chance to play at such a storied stadium as Anfield, although another positive performance – particularly like the one in the first half against the Saints – will of course be the priority against the third-placed Reds.

You'll be able to follow the match with live updates on our Twitter account, @SpursOfficial.

Spurs Ladies
SSE Women's FA Cup, third round
Sunday, February 5, 2017
Sir Tom Finney Stadium, Lancashire, 1pm

Spurs Ladies face their first away tie in this season's SSE Women's FA Cup on Sunday as they take on Blackburn Rovers at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, home of Lancashire-based non-league side Bamber Bridge.

Interestingly, it's a clash of the top sides in the northern and southern divisions of the FA Women's Premier League, with Rovers having gone three points clear at the top of the northern section with a 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest last Sunday. Unbeaten Spurs are two clear of Charlton Ladies at the summit in the south, with two games in hand.

Keep an eye out here on early next week for a report.

Under-18 Premier League
Tuesday, February 7, 2017
Hotspur Way, 12noon

Both sides’ exploits in the FA Youth Cup this week forced this fixture, initially scheduled for Saturday, to be pushed back to Tuesday.

Two late goals saw us triumph 2-0 against the Foxes in the reverse fixture earlier in the season and following Thursday night’s excellent victory over Norwich City by the same scoreline at Stevenage, we have some positive momentum heading into the contest.

Once again, we’ll bring you live updates on Twitter @SpursOfficial.
