Spurs weekend preview – all the fixtures for our sides

Posted on 16 September 2016  - 11:55

A run-down of which of our teams are in action this weekend and who their opponents are.

First team
Premier League
Sunday, September 18, 2016
White Hart Lane, 4.30pm

Former Spurs players Jermain Defoe and Steven Pienaar return to White Hart Lane with Sunderland on Sunday.

David Moyes' men are without a win in four Premier League games to date, although they have made progress in the EFL Cup at Shrewsbury's expense.

Development squad
Premier League 2
Monday, September 19, 2016
Lamex Stadium, Stevenage, 7pm

Our development squad returns to action in the Premier League 2 on Monday night at Stevenage, against a Liverpool side that hammered Leicester City 4-0 at this level last weekend.

Some of our regular Premier League 2 campaigners picked up some game time in our midweek UEFA Youth League defeat to Monaco, but a return to top form will very much be the target for Ugo Ehiogu's charges on Monday after the disappointment of a 3-1 defeat at Chelsea last time out.

Supporters should be aware that there is no longer any parking available at the adjacent Roaring Meg retail park for football fans attending midweek or evening fixtures at the Lamex Stadium. More details here.

Match tickets will be available on the night, priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Under-18 Premier League
Saturday, September 17, 2016
Hotspur Way, 12noon

After tasting European action against Monaco in the UEFA Youth League in midweek, our youngsters return to domestic duties with a home match against Norwich City.

We've won two and lost two of our four Under-18 Premier League fixtures so far this term but with both of those victories coming on home soil, the lads will be hopeful of picking up another three points against the Canaries this weekend.

Spurs Ladies
FA Women’s Premier League
Sunday, September 18, 2016
Dripping Pan, Lewes FC, 2pm

Spurs Ladies sit top of the table heading into Sunday's trip to Lewes, having maintained a 100 per cent record so far in 2016-17.

Lewes have taken four points from their four games this season to date.
